About Ziggy

Howdie 🙂 My name is Ziggy, as you can see I’m a doggy and I’m originally from Los Angeles… below you can see me with my best friend Mimi Selmi Reed. She is an artist/illustrator and member of the SCBWI. Mimi’s Portfolio at SCBWI. Mimi’s husband Michael Alan Reed, is well known as an Illustrator/Art Director: Mike’s Portfolio.

I was saved from the high-kill shelter Baldwin Park in Los Angeles County in 2007. My best friend Wolfie is also an ex-street-dog and survived thanks to NewLifeForAnimals Romania, a privately managed rescue team in Bucharest, Romania. Since our owners and friends Mike & Mimi are working artists, they love to film, illustrate, animate, take pictures and write about us:
